Ryder Cup Odds: Patrick Reed To Make USA Team?

Patrick Reed has been well supported to make the 2025 USA Ryder Cup team following his four-man playoff success at LIV Golf Dallas last weekend.
That was his first success on the LIV Tour since making the switch from the PGA in June 2022 and golf betting punters are now stronger on his chances of featuring at the Ryder Cup than they were a week or so ago.
According to the latest sports betting markets at William Hill, Reed is now 6/4 (from 5/2) to feature in Keegan Bradley’s team for the 2025 Ryder Cup – which is due to take place at Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, New York.
Ryder Cup Squad Market Movers
- Matt Fitzpatrick – 4/9 from 8/13
- Rasmus Hojgaard – 11/8 from 6/5
- Patrick Reed – 6/4 from 5/2
- Harry Hall – 6/4 from 13/8
- Matt Wallace – 5/2 from 2/1
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Patrick Reed has a tough road ahead of him if he is to feature in Keegan Bradley’s team at Bethpage, considering his switch to the LIV tour and lack of qualification points. However, we’ve had to cut his odds of making the 2025 USA Ryder Cup team to 6/4 from 5/2 following Sunday’s playoff win in Texas.
“On the European team, Matt Fitzpatrick has seen his odds of returning to Luke Donald’s side shorten significantly, moving from 8/13 to 4/9 after a string of improved performances and a top-10 finish at the Rocket Classic.
“Fellow Englishmen Harry Hall (6/4) and Matt Wallace are both striving to make their Ryder Cup debuts in September. Wallace’s impressive record at Bethpage could make him a valued addition to the European team, but his lacklustre form has seen his odds lengthen from 2/1 to 5/2.
“Rasmus Hojgaard is another European on the drift in the market, yet to clinch a top-10 finish this year, and having missed the cut last weekend, he’s out to 11/8 from 6/5.”
