Ascot Horse Racing Tips – Saturday 22nd November 2025
Ascot’s November Racing Weekend features plenty of classy horses and potential superstars across a two-day card highlighted by two Grade 2 contests, the 1965 Chase and the Ascot Hurdle.
Saturday also sees the second-ever running of the Berkshire National Handicap Chase.
12.25pm – 2m5½f Novices’ Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo+)
The Tizzard’s are going through a purple patch at the moment and that can continue when their horse ETNA BIANCO (NAP) lands the opener at Ascot.
A staying on third in a 2m4f Novices’ Hurdle race at Cheltenham last month, this extra distance should be ideal for the five-year-old.
12.55pm – 2m7½f Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) (4yo+ 0-130)
I’m siding with the Tizzard’s again here with their bottom-weight BOBBI WITH AN I.
The former point-to-point winner ran out of real estate when running on late at Exeter last time, and this slight step up in trip should play to her strengths. She’s a great looking each-way bet in our sports betting markets.
1.30pm – 2m5f 1965 Chase (Grade 2) (4yo+)
IL EST FRANCAIS, who won multiple major prizes at Auteuil as well as the 2023 Kauto Star Novices’ Chase at Kempton, can get his career back on track with the “other” George on Saturday afternoon.
With the horse reportedly in rude health, I can see James Reveley leading from pillar to post on him.
2.05pm – 3m5½f Berkshire National Handicap Chase (Class 2) (5yo+ 0-150)
REGARDE stepped forward from his novice form last season with a win at Kempton and a good third at Ascot. Then in the spring he won the Tim Molony Chase at Haydock before finishing second in the Golden Miller at The Festival.
His first run of this new campaign resulted in a close third place at the October Meeting at Cheltenham, so you would like to think he is still on the simmer and ready to record another career victory in this staying feature.
2.40pm – 2m3½f Ascot Hurdle (Grade 2) (4yo+)
A change of scenery may just be what was needed to reignite the fortunes of GWENNIE MAY BOY.
After winning the Rendlesham Hurdle at Haydock Park last February, the form of the seven-year-old dramatically fizzled away, and the seven-year-old has subsequently been moved to Olly Murphy’s yard.
This 148-rated hurdler should never be a 33/1 shot in the horse racing betting, and I am advising an each-way flutter.
3.15pm – 2m1f Handicap Chase (Class 2) (4yo+)
Course and distance winner TEDDY BLUE was excellent here three weeks ago, and a similar round of jumping will see him taking home the silverware once more.
The seven-year-old has already registered six career victories for his owner, and a seventh appears to be waiting in the wings.
3.45pm – 3m½f Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) (4yo+ 0-115)
Tim Easterby’s UOKHUN deserves to take a crack at a race like this and she can make her presence felt whilst representing the North.
In my tracker since she finished third at 80/1 in mares’ hurdle at Wetherby, the seven-year-old has turned into a nice little handicapper at this level.
