Cheltenham Festival 2025 – The Grade 1 Hurdle Entries

Hurdle Entries

Tuesday 14th January saw the official release of the Cheltenham Festival hurdle entries, with the main eyebrow raiser being a Japanese entry into the Champion Hurdle.

We had entries for the Cheltenham Festival Grade 1 chase races last week but the focus this Tuesday was on the biggest hurdle races of the week, namely the Champion Hurdle, the Stayers Hurdle and the Mares Hurdle.

The eight-year-old All The Word finished third in the Tokyo High Jump, one of the Japan’s leading jump races, in October.
