William Hill’s Cheltenham Festival preview

William Hill present the first day of their 2023 Cheltenham Festival Preview Night from Wetherby Racecourse with host Ross Brierley joined by a star studded line up.

The six panelists are split into two teams with the first team seeing 20 time champion jockey Sir AP McCoy joined by William Hill ambassador Leonna Mayor and Gold Cup winning rider Andrew Thornton.

Team two consists of multiple Grade One winning jumps jockey Barry Geraghty, The Inside Track’s Kate Tracey and top tipster Andy Holding.

Day One

The panel go through the first day of the Cheltenham Festival discussing the four Grade Ones – the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, Arkle, Champion Hurdle and Mares’ Hurdle. The day one preview is rounded off by Andrew Thornton and Andy Holding putting up their best bets for the Ultima Handicap Chase and Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle.

Day Two

The panel go through the second day of the Cheltenham Festival discussing the three Grade Ones – the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle, Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase and Queen Mother Champion Chase. The day two preview is rounded off by Andrew Thornton and Andy Holding putting up their best bets in the handicaps.

Day Three

The panel go through the third day of the Cheltenham festival discussing the three Grade Ones – the Turners Novices’ Chase, Ryanair Chase and Stayers’ Hurdle. The day three preview is rounded off by Andrew Thornton and Andy Holding putting up their best bets for the handicaps.

Day Four

The panel go through the fourth day of the Cheltenham festival discussing the three Grade Ones on the final day – the Triumph Hurdle, Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle and Gold Cup. The day four preview is rounded off by Andy Holding putting up his best bets in the handicaps.
