ITV Racing Tips – Saturday 10th January 2026

Chepstow Horse Racing

The William Hill Half A Mill Classic Handicap Chase is the most valuable race of the season run at Warwick. Staged over three miles and five furlongs, the contest has a total prize fund of £100,000 and will be televised live on ITV.

This season, it is one of three races in the William Hill Half A Mill series.

Along with the winners of Aintree’s Becher Chase and the Grand National Trial at Haydock Park, should this season’s Classic Chase victor go on to win at Aintree on April 11th they will collect a £500,000 bonus courtesy of our William Hill sponsorship.

ITV will also show top races from Kempton Park and Fairyhouse, one of the elite racecourses in Ireland, during their live coverage on Saturday.

1.15pm Warwick – 2m4f William Hill Bet Builder Handicap Chase (5yo+ 0-110)

Jane Williams doesn’t really get the plaudits she deserves, given the fact that her yard is going extremely well of late.

Her course and distance PEPE LE MOKO had his form well and truly franked yesterday by Followcato, so he’s the logical pick here.

1.30pm Kempton – 2m Juvenile Hurdle (4yo)

Jamie Snowden’s newcomers are always worth a follow, so I will be giving a live each-way shout to SENATOR in this juvenile event.

This ex-flat recruit from France is an interesting purchase for the stable.

1.40pm Fairyhouse – 2m1f Handicap Chase (Grade 3) (5yo+)

Top-weight BLOOD DESTINY is the class act in this line up and Paul Townend must really be fancying his chances aboard him.

Currently rated 152, the others will really need to raise their game to challenge this consistent gelding.

1.52pm Warwick – 3m William Hill Hampton Novices’ Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+)

After witnessing MOON ROCKET (NAP) being narrowly denied at Doncaster a month ago, it would be foolish of me to desert him. The six-year-old is a tough competitor and he should go close in this Grade 2.

2.05pm Kempton – 3m Handicap Chase (5yo+ 0-145)

SOUL ICON blotted his copybook when unseating last time, and can bounce right back to winning ways at Kempton.

The former Grade 2 winner should have too much scope for his rivals here.

2.25pm Warwick – 2m William Hill Handicap Hurdle (4yo+ 0-110)

Bottom-weighted PREMIER crept into his race nicely last time and is certainly worth an each-way interest in just his third ever handicap.

Punters already appear to have latched onto this Greatrex runner for smart money.

2.40pm Kempton – 2m4½f Silviniaco Conti Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+)

MASTER CHEWY beat Edwardstone not long ago and can benefit from a wind op on his second run since the procedure took place.

I personally think the favourite looks vulnerable, so this is the horse who can take advantage.

2.55pm Warwick – 3m5f William Hill Half A Mill Classic Handicap Chase (5yo+)

Having just got touched off in the Becher ChaseMR VANGO is the best stayer amongst this field and should gallop them all into submission.

At odds of 100/30 in our horse racing betting, he’s a nice price for win purposes.

3.17pm Kempton – 2m5f Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle (4yo+)

FRENCH SHIP is arguably one of the best horses in the Hobbs/White stable, and he can show his class by taking another big handicap scalp on the weekend.

His victories at Cheltenham and Newbury have been impressive and his 5/1 odds in our sports betting look rather generous.

3.32pm Warwick – 3m1f Pertemps Hurdle Series Qualifier (5yo+)

GREEN BOOK is a much better horse than he showed at Sandown, where he was pulled up, and I shall forgive him that effort.

I will be bold enough to say that the former Chester Plate winner can qualify for the Pertemps Final this afternoon.
