Kevin Stott blog: Hopeful of a big run from Ballyare in the Bronze Cup

It was great to ride a double at Ayr yesterday and both Chuzzlewit and Hi Royal look to have bright futures ahead of them.
Ayr, Friday
I start today with Alia Choice in the Listed Arran Scottish Sprint Fillies’ Stakes (3.10pm). She was impressive at York two starts back but got put up a ridiculous amount because of it. She never got involved in the Beverley Bullet last time out and on that evidence has plenty to do once again.
Next I’m on Ballyare for Lucinda Russell. He has been running well this year and the form of his win at Chester on his penultimate start has worked out very well. I’m delighted he got into the top of the Bronze Cup (3.45pm), and with a bit of luck and he should run nicely.
Flylikeaneagle (4.20pm) is another for Lucinda Russell and another who has been in great form with three wins this year. One of those came here and he was also a close second over course and distance, so he likes the track which is always a bonus. We are well drawn in stall four so hopefully we can find a good position behind the leaders and be competitive.
I won on Flying Moon (5.20pm) here back in May before he went on to win another two on the bounce, also at Ayr. He has run a couple of below par races since but seemed to bounce back last time. A slight step up in trip can help as he seems to just gallop and lengthen. He’s another with strong course form and hopefully he can go well back here.
