Tune in for broadcaster Nick Luck’s preview to US racing!
With an increasing appetite for US racing in the UK, we’re welcoming Nick Luck to the team as our new Flat Racing expert.
The seven-time HWPA Broadcaster of the Year joins our already stellar stable of racing experts that include Rebecca Curtis, Sir AP McCoy and the Twiston-Davies’, Nigel and Sam.
Luck, a regular part of Racing TV and NBC Sports’ television coverage, will provide critical insights and tips on UK and US racing throughout the summer.
Looking forward to getting underway, Nick said: “I am delighted to join the William Hill team. William Hill has a strong association with horse racing on both sides of the Atlantic, and so I am looking forward to working with a brand that shares my love for the sport of kings.”
US Triple Crown fast approaching
The Belmont Stakes, one of horse-racing’s biggest events and the first leg of this year’s US Triple Crown, is set to take place on June 20.
The remainder of the Triple Crown comes with the Kentucky Derby scheduled for September 5 at Churchill Downs in Kentucky, and the Preakness Stakes is slated for October 3 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
Keep an eye on news.williamhill.com and our dedicated racing Twitter page @WillHillRacing for Nick’s latest tips as the racing hots up from the other side of the Atlantic.
Punters have Luck on their side
Nick has been increasingly involved in US Flat racing, helping to host last year’s Breeders’ Cup meeting with NBC Sports, and has a long history of covering every angle of racing on home soil too.
Formerly the presenter of Channel 4 Racing and still the anchor of Racing TV, Nick has been providing racing fans a great insight into the sport’s trainers, jockeys, and horses for since 2004. His knowledge of racing is exceptional, and we hope he will be able to provide you with a few pointers this summer.
