Have you ever wondered ‘who is faster: a man or a horse?’ Well, we put a little challenge together between former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and 20-time Champion Jockey Sir AP McCoy to find out.

The race was simple. Vaughan would run the length of a cricket wicket (approximately 22 yards) turn and run the same distance back, whilst McCoy, aboard his mount Bourne, would have to round a flag in line with the stumps before turning back.

So, the stage was set. Two sporting greats taking each other on, but who would come out on top?

Ahead of the Virtual Grand National, we put together a little quiz between leading National Hunt jockey Sam Twiston-Davies and 20-time Champion Jockey AP McCoy to see who knew the most about the world’s most famous horse race.

The pair were tested on a variety of topics around the race including On The Buzzer, a Picture Round and Guess Who? as we tested their knowledge on all aspects of the Aintree showpiece.
