The conditional jockeys get an opportunity to showcase their talents in this 2m4f Class 5 Handicap Hurdle, which frankly won’t take much winning given the current level of form some of these horses are at.
Lewis Stones is generally the jockey that trainer Olly Murphy picks in races of this nature, and his HENRYSBROTHERJACK can follow up on his Uttoxeter resurgence in December.
Our Jesse Boy is interesting in a handicap for the first time for a shrewd stable.
Market Rasen – 1:40pm

Market Rasen – 2:10pm
The Joel Parkinson and Sue Smith stable has really cranked up a notch in recent weeks, with winners and good runs becoming a matter of course on most race days. Given that they’re having a purple patch, EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER is the percentage call in this 3m Novices’ Handicap Chase.
The seven-year-old landed the spoils at Catterick a fortnight ago and is a chaser totally at home in soft conditions. He should put up another bold show.

Market Rasen – 2:40pm

As was alluded to earlier, the Parkinson/Smith stable is going well and their TREASURED COMPANY is at least a winner this season, unlike most of his rivals.
The nine-year-old ran a solid race behind Mr Smarty at Wetherby over Christmas, and only went down by 1¼ lengths at the line. That level of form bodes well for today.

Market Rasen – 3:10pm
After being declared a non-runner several times this week, VELASCO finally lines up in this 2m7f Handicap Hurdle.
Owned and trained by Susan Corbett herself, she must feel this Class 4 is the ideal race for her nine-year-old to return to after wind surgery.
Hardy Fella showed renewed promise at Wincanton and is a podium player.
Market Rasen – 3:45pm
CONCETTO finished 9½ lengths second to O’Connell at this venue last time with that horse well and truly franked the form at the weekend. Already a course and distance winner, the omens looks good for Kapgarde-gelding.
Consistent performer Peejaybee can chase him home.
Market Rasen – 4:20pm
Racing greenness and testing conditions snatched a debut victory away from KARLITA DESBOIS at Uttoxeter and she will come on bundles for the experience.
