LENNILU gets a narrow vote in maybe the toughest edition of the Juvenile Turf Sprint yet (9.45). On first inspection her draw isn’t great, but she has raw speed to her inside in the shape of Schwarzenegger, who should drag her into the race. There are very few in here who can sit comfortably off the sort of scorching fractions she encountered at Gulfstream last time, and she’ll take a bit of reeling in.
SUPER CORREDORA can rise to the occasion in the Juvenile Fillies (10.25). She took three goes to break her maiden, but she exploded forward when stepped up in distance, running a huge figure. As a daughter of Gun Runner, she ought to do better for further still, and l could see her going wire to wire.
PACIFIC MISSION can take advantage of Precise’s absence in the Juvenile Fillies’ Turf (11.05). The way she stretched out on the synthetic at Kempton suggested she was doing well to finish second in the May Hill despite the ground. This has been the plan for a while, and she can get a piece of the action here. Imaginationthelady may be best of the home team
TED NOFFEY will be mighty tough to beat in the Juvenile (11.45). He earned rave reviews from his trainer after his Keeneland victory, and he looks a through professional in every respect. I like the outside post for him, with likely speed right to his inside.
HEY NAY NAY might be a value play against Gstaad in the Juvenile Turf (12.25). While a large part of me expects Gstaad to just win easily, there’s a danger he might be a bit lit up with no cover early. With that in mind, it might pay to side with an undefeated colt who could well make the lead and stay there.
