Who’s ready to do it all over again? Day one was a treat and our man Nick Luck has ran his eye over the card on day two to pick out his fancies.

KINTA is a sporting alternative at 12/1 to heavy favourite Dramatised in Thursday’s Lowther at York (1.50pm). Clearly there are few flaws in the market leader, but I’ll happily watch her win at odds-on, and the selection arguably could have remained unbeaten in the Princess Margaret with a smoother run. Given that was her first run on turf, she is fully entitled to take another step forward and William Buick riding is a big plus.

REDEMPTION TIME can strike at 11/1 in the valuable sales race that isn’t loaded with talent (2.25pm). He responded well to the first-time tongue tie when posting a fair figure at Bath, and was set to improve on that in the Norfolk before getting wiped out late on. A reproduction of that effort would see him right there, and the extra furlong now looks necessary.

CRUYFF TURN simply has to run a big race at 12/1 in the mile handicap (3.00pm). He won the race last year off a lower mark, but has continued to progress since and confirmed his love for this track when beating Brunch at the Dante meeting. Most striking, however, was his excellent effort on the wrong side over the wrong trip in the Bunbury Cup last time, which suggested yet further progress.

TUESDAY is taken to get back on track at 4/1 in the Yorkshire Oaks (3.35pm). Although the Oaks form sends out mixed messages, the balance of her overall Classic campaign is highly creditable, and you can forget her indifferent run against the bias in a weird Irish Derby. With conditions well in her favour, she can make the most of the three-year-old advantage against the admirable Alpinista.

HASKOY is the pick at 9/2 in the Galtres Stakes (4.10pm). Although she has only a Wolverhampton maiden win to her name, she was super impressive on a track that probably wouldn’t be her ideal, overcoming a slow start to draw right away. She is bred for fast ground and plenty of stamina, and there is every chance that Ryan Moore had the pick of the two Juddmonte fillies here.
