This game is being operated by Racing TV, who is the controller of all personal data collected from entrants. Racing TV will also share the details of the winning entrant with William Hill so that William Hill can pay the prize to the winner.

Your personal data collected by Racing TV will only be used for the purposes of the Leadership Board game and retained for the length of time we run the game plus an additional period of 2 years to allow us to conduct data analysis. After that time, we will not retain your personal data unless you provide us with consent to send you marketing communications in which case, we will retain your personal data for as long as that consent remains valid.

Significant Conditions

a. This is a free-to-enter Horse Racing competition (“Competition”), available to William Hill customers via the William Hill News site (https://news.williamhill.com/horse-racing/play-top-tipster/) and via Racing TV (https://www.racingtv.com/toptipster/ (“Websites”).

b. This Competition runs from 12:00 (UK time) on Day 26th January 2024 until 00:00 (UK time) on 30th June 2024 (“Competition Period”).

c. One entry per customer, per Round (defined below).

d. Available for new and existing UK and Irish customers with a William Hill account.

e. William Hill is co-promoting the Competition in conjunction with RMG Operations Limited.

How to play

f. Top Tipster is a free-to-enter Horse Racing competition, consisting of a series of qualifying races where a jackpot can be won by finishing top of our leaderboard, run on any one or two days (the “Competition” and each set of races across one or two days of the Competition being a “Round”).

g. Prior to the start of the first race of each Round, choose one horse to win each of the qualifying races and submit your entry with your full name, email address and team name.

h. If your horse wins, points for selecting the winning horse will be calculated and awarded to an equivalent of a £1 win single settled at SP on the respective selection. The more races you win, the higher up the leaderboard you will finish at the end of each Round.

i. If any selection becomes a non-runner, it will be replaced with the SP favourite for the applicable race.

j. In the case of joint SP favourites, the selection will be replaced by the joint SP favourite with the lowest race card number.

k. If any race of the Round is abandoned, postponed, or not completed for any reason, the race will (at the Promoter’s discretion) be considered void (“Void Races”).

l. If in any Round of the Competition, the number of qualifying races is reduced to 5 or lower due to Void Races, then the Round will be deemed cancelled, and no Prizes will be awarded.

Prizes

m. The Jackpot prize of £5,000 / €5,000 in cash will be awarded to the entrant who finishes in 1st in the Competition (“Winner”) and consolation prizes for those who finish 2nd – 10th (“Runner-Up”), will be awarded to entries finishing in 2nd to 10th place. See full Prize Table below for more information.

n. If multiple entries finish tied in the same position, the Prize associated with the relevant position(s) will be accumulated and split equally amongst all valid Winners or Runner-Up(s). For example, if two individuals finish tied 1st on the same points, the two individuals will split £5,500 cumulatively and there will be no second-place prize awarded.

o. In the case of multiple Winner(s) or Runner-Up(s) where the split Prize awarded is under £5, the minimum prize a customer will receive is £5 cash.

p. At the end of each Round, once Winners and Runner-Ups have been confirmed, winnings will be paid into their verified William Hill account.

q. Prizes will be paid out to Winner(s) and Runner-Up(s) by 12:00:00 (UK time) on the following Monday after the Round is completed.

r. Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if necessary for reasons beyond its control. The Promoter will not be liable for Prizes that do not reach the Winners or Runners-Up for reasons beyond its reasonable control.

s. We reserve the right to withhold payment of winnings and disqualify any Winner or Runner-Up if:
• A William Hill account cannot be identified that matches the entry full name and email address; or
• A William Hill account is found to not be fully verified as part of our KYC / Age

Winners

u. Winners and Runner-Ups will be notified by email or push notification registered on their account on the following Monday after the relevant Round has been completed.

v. It is each player’s sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date on their account.

w. Winners and Runner-Ups will be required to verify (with evidence satisfactory to the Promoter) their:
• age;
• identity;
• residence; and
• any other verification information requested by the Promoter, to the satisfaction of the Promoter before they are eligible to receive their Prize.

x. If any Winner or Runner-Up is not able, for whatever reason:
• to accept a Prize;
• verify their registration information to the satisfaction of the Promoter;
• has been found to have breached these Terms and Conditions; or
• cannot be contacted within five Business Days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner (and their eligibility to receive any Prize(s) under the Competition) and award the applicable Prize to another participant, if applicable.

y. Entries that do not comply in full with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive any Prizes.

Standard Terms and Conditions

1. General restrictions
a. We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include the following.
• Using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks).
• Using more than one account in order to get more than the number of bonuses allowed for each customer.
• Sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others. This includes taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you.
• Taking part in a promotion that is not available in the country you live in.
• Colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage).
• Using more than one account per person, per household or per IP address.
b. If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:
• settle bets at the correct odds, not the bonus or promotion odds;
• void any free bets or bets funded by a bonus (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
• remove any winnings relating to any bonus.
2. General conditions
a. You will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering the Competition
b. Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, you can withdraw funds from your main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
c. You cannot take part in this promotion if you have previously been informed by William Hill that you are excluded from participating in promotions, or from betting or playing any games on our website. Entrants that are found to have an account that is currently under self-exclusion, or a time out will not be eligible to win a prize. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to exclude certain customers from this Competition and to change the terms or availability of this offer at any time.
d. We can withhold or refuse to pay any winnings from a bonus if funds you paid into your main balance (including any amounts you have already used) are cancelled or denied by any payment service (for example, your card provider).
e. We can change or cancel this Competition, or change these terms and conditions:
• without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or
• by giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, or we identify a mistake in this promotion or these terms and conditions).
• We can also award an equivalent bonus to the one referred to in this promotion.
f. We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
g. Your use of our website (for the avoidance of doubt, including our news site), and your gaming or betting, is governed by our terms and conditions of using our website (the general terms). You must read the general terms and these terms and conditions before you take part in this promotion. If any of these terms and conditions conflict with the general terms, these terms and conditions will apply.
h. These terms and conditions are governed by, and interpreted in line with, the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action in connection with these terms and conditions will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
i. If any provision or part-provision of these Terms and Conditions are or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
j. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and each of its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
• any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the Prizes, Competition, other associated promotions or relevant horse racing fixtures beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control;
• any technical failures or unavailability of the Websites or other related platforms;
• obvious errors or omissions relating to the awarding of Prizes; or
• any act or default of any third party supplier including without limitation errors relating to fixtures and scoring data.
k. The Competition is co-promoted by RMG Operations Limited of 10th Floor, Met Building, 22 Percy St, London W1T 2BU (“Racing TV”) and:
• For UK Online customers, WHG (International) Limited (trading as ‘William Hill’), a company incorporated and registered in Gibraltar (registered company number 99191) whose registered office is at 6/1 Waterport Place, Gibraltar; or
• For customers in Ireland is William Hill Malta PLC (trading as ‘William Hill’), a company incorporated and registered in Malta (registered company number C 87591) whose registered address is Level G, Office 1/2429, Quantum House, 75, Abate Rigord Street TA’ XBIEX, XBX 1120 Malta.
