Meet our ambassadors

We’re proud to work with some of the biggest names in racing, whether they be trainers, jockeys or presenters. Take a look at our racing ambassadors…

Sir AP McCoy

Sir AP McCoy is a former professional jockey and the most successful rider in National Hunt history. He was Champion Jockey for 20 consecutive seasons between 1996 and 2015, riding more than 4,300 winners in his career. His major victories include the Cheltenham Gold Cup on Synchronised in 2012 and the Grand National aboard Don’t Push It in 2010. He has since become a successful broadcaster, racing analyst and William Hill ambassador.

Nick Luck

Nick Luck is a leading racing broadcaster and journalist with extensive experience covering the sport at the highest level. He has presented and reported on major meetings including the Cheltenham Festival, Royal Ascot and the Breeders’ Cup, and has interviewed many of the sport’s leading figures. In addition to broadcast work, you can find his tips for all the big meetings in his William Hill blog.

Barry Geraghty

Barry is one of the best National Hunt jockeys of his generation. He rode 43 winners at the Cheltenham Festival, with four wins in the Champion Hurdle, five successes in the Queen Mother Champion Chase and two memorable victories in 2005 and 2013 in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He rode Monty’s Pass to win the Grand National in 2003 and was known for his association with jumping greats Sprinter Sacre, Moscow Flyer and Kicking King.

Gavin Cromwell

Gavin is one of Ireland’s leading dual-purpose trainers. His marquee National Hunt successes came in the 2025 Cheltenham Gold Cup with Inothewayurthinkin, in the Champion Hurdle when he trained Espoir d’Allen to win in 2019 and a dual success with Flooring Porter who won back-to-back Stayers’ Hurdles in 2021 and 2022. He also has saddled two winners at Royal Ascot and made history with a first ever Irish-trained winner in Bahrain with Snellen.

Keith Donoghue

Keith is one of Ireland’s top National Hunt jockeys, predominantly riding for fellow William Hill ambassador Gavin Cromwell. He’s ridden six Cheltenham Festival winners, with a leading five victories in the Cross Country Chase, including three wins aboard the great Tiger Roll, as well as Stumptown, when pairing up with Gavin Cromwell. The pair also made history when partnering Stumptown to victory in the Velká Pardubická in 2025, becoming the first Irish-trained and ridden winner of the race.

Jane Mangan

Jane was an amateur jockey for many years, with big victories to her name at the Punchestown and Galway festivals, including when riding The Liquidator to a Grade 1 triumph in 2013. Since her retirement, she has become a successful horse racing broadcaster for the likes of Racing TV and RTE.
