Cartmel Racecourse

Set in the Lake District, Cartmel offers fans a relaxed atmosphere to watch racing throughout the summer. A lot of their meetings take place around the bank holidays, bringing big crowds.

The tight left-handed course only has six fences to jump, but they test a horses ability. The half-mile run-in after the last fence is the longest in the country.
