Kempton Racecourse
Kempton can race throughout the year with flat action on the all-weather (polytrack), as well as Jumps racing. The course, which is the closest to central London, takes centre stage around Christmas with the iconic King George VI Chase on Boxing Day.
The track
Kempton is a flat, oval-shaped courses with two circuits. The inner loop favours the quicker types, particularly over the minimum trip. A three-furlong straight makes the outer course more straightforward.
