NAP of the Day: 13/8 Treanmor The One To Beat On Day 5 At Royal Ascot

It’s the fifth and final day at the 2025 Royal Ascot meeting and our tipster is back with this latest instalment in his NAP of the Day column for the week.
The boys in blue look to have an absolute fantastic chance running on the last day of Royal Ascot, and it’s hard to shy away from his chances and not make him the NAP of the day.
Treanmor, Godolphin’s €2million Frankel colt, got off to a flyer at Newmarket just over a month ago and will be a popular pick amongst horse racing betting punters today.
NAP of the Day – Saturday 21st June 2025:
- 2:30 Royal Ascot – Treanmor (13/8)
Charlie Appleby’s juvenile was quickly installed as one of the favourites in Royal Ascot odds for the Coventry Stakes after landing the six-furlong novice stakes by four lengths, but the stable finally decided that the Chesham was the best option for him.
Treanmor is the first foal out of Loch Lein, who was second to the mighty St Mark’s Basilica at two-years-old. His breeding is certainly top notch and you would expect him to be making yet another contribution towards his lofty price tag in this Listed affair.
The two-year-old faces eight other rivals in this seven furlong Listed race, and a quick run through the field would suggest that his main danger would be the Aidan O’Brien-trained Moments Of Joy, who was a first time up winner too.
The filly only just scrambled home sixteen days ago at Leopardstown, and I am pretty confident the Godolphin runner will be more physically imposing than O’Brien’s runner. This should be the deciding factor should the duo get involved in a protracted dual in the closing stages.
