What Colour Will The Queen’s Hat Be On Day 4 At Royal Ascot 2025?

Favourite backers were thrilled to see Queen Camilla dressed in blue on Thursday but which colour heads the market ahead of Day 4 at Royal Ascot?
Blue was the favoured colour in betting markets for each of the first three days and backers were rewarded on Thursday, with the Queen’s hat a lovely shade of blue for the opening procession ahead of racing on Ladies Day.
With just two days left to go, the Berkshire track is set for baking conditions over the next few days. Temperatures are projected to hit 30C in some areas of the country – and it may even be the hottest Royal Ascot on record if the Iberian heat hits harder than expected.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Blue-backers in the King’s tie and the Queen’s hat stakes at Royal Ascot finally got their winner as Queen Camilla appeared in Day Three’s Royal Procession in a blue hat, whilst King Charles still upset the odds by breaking out a purple tie for Gold Cup Day at the Berkshire track.
“For the first time at Royal Ascot 2025, blue has not been favoured in both markets with white the market leader to be the colour of The Queen’s hat at 9/4. That said, traders still can’t see past The King finally pairing his tie colour with Ascot’s skies, as blue is the favoured colour at 5/2.”
