Sam Twiston-Davies’ William Hill Blog: Horses to Follow in 2024

The New Year is off to a good start for me so far, with a very easy winner at Ludlow last week in Kestrel Valley, who drew 20 lengths clear of the rest. It was our third win as a combination, and I hope she can continue to progress this year.

On that note, I would keep a close eye on Undersupervision too. He won the Grimthorpe Handicap Chase two years ago and came second in it last year. He’s had a disappointing season so far, at both Cheltenham and Aintree, however we know it’s a race and a track he’s done well at in the past. He is one to keep an eye one and hopefully he goes well come March.

Another horse that I’m hoping is one to follow in 2024 is Broadway Boy. He has been fantastic so far this season, showing his class in novice chases, and won a Premier Handicap last time out at Cheltenham. Hopefully, he can go to the Festival and have a great chance. All being well he’s definitely one to follow for 2024 and the future.

The third horse that would be one to follow in the coming year is Master Chewy. He was fantastic at Kempton last time and jumped really well. He’s proven that two-mile chasing has been quite the thing for him. The faster they go, the better it suits him and he’s got a good attitude. There are many positives about this lad, including his jumping; fences have proved a massive positive, so hopefully he’s one for years to come.
