Max Verstappen Odds: Which Team Will Dutchman Drive For In 2026?

Speculation over Max Verstappen’s next move in Formula 1 has intensified, and William Hill price the four-time world champion at 6/4 to join Mercedes.

Verstappen remains even money to stay put at Red Bull, but reported interest from rival teams has sparked conversation over who the Dutchman will be driving for in 2026.

Aston Martin follow Mercedes in the F1 betting odds, priced at 9/2, while a potential sabbatical year for Verstappen is priced at 10/1. Cadillac (12/1), Audi (16/1), and Ferrari (25/1) are further back in the market.

McLaren come in at 33/1, followed by Williams (40/1) and Alpine (66/1). Long shots include Haas at 80/1, and Red Bull’s sister team Racing Bulls at 100/1.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Max Verstappen is even money to be racing for Red Bull next season, but Mercedes are hot on their heels at 6/4 to secure the Dutchman’s services for 2026 following speculation over the driver’s future. 

“While Mercedes lead the chasing pack, Aston Martin are close behind in the market at 9/2. A year away from the sport is also considered a possibility, with odds of 10/1 on Verstappen taking a sabbatical. Further down the market are Cadillac at 12/1, followed by Audi (16/1) and Ferrari at 25/1.

“McLaren are 33/1, ahead of Williams (40/1) and Alpine (66/1), while major outsiders include Haas at 80/1 and Red Bull’s sister outfit, Racing Bulls, at 100/1.”

The four-time world champion is only 27 years old but he may be looking for a new challenge, having joined Red Bull Racing in 2016.

Ahead of this weekend’s British Grand Prix, F1 fans will be keeping an eye out for any media reports. A decision is unlikely to be made for some time but the rumour mill will be working overtime.
