Next James Bond Odds: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Clear Favourite For 007 Role

Speculation continues to surround Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his chances of being the next James Bond, following the departure of Daniel Craig from the role of 007.
According to the latest betting odds with William Hill, Taylor-Johnson is now an even money favourite to become the next James Bond with Theo James at 5/2 and Henry Cavill – formerly the market leader – is now a 4/1 shot for the role. In addition, rising star Jack Lowden is priced at 6/1 with the remaining actors at 7/1 or bigger.
The reason for the latest market move? Well, it could be due to Omega adding Aaron Taylor-Johnson to their list of brand ambassadors, with the brand obtaining a positive and lengthy association with the James Bond franchise.
Lee Phelps, spokesperson for William Hill, said: “Aaron Taylor-Johnson is now the clear favourite in the race to be the next Bond, and all the signs seem to be pointing his way. As a recent addition to Omega’s list of brand ambassadors, this deal has only added fuel to the fire given the brand’s long-standing association with the Bond franchise.
“We’ve seen a wave of support in the market, and his odds have crashed to even-money as a result. Former frontrunner Theo James is now second favourite at 5/2, with Henry Cavill at 4/1 and Jack Lowden rounding out the top four at 6/1.”
Daniel Craig held the title of James Bond for over 15 years, starring in films such as Casino Royale, Skyfall and most recently, No Time To Die. He was an incredibly popular Bond and the next 007 – whether that be Aaron Taylor-Johnson or not – has big shoes to fill.
