England vs Fiji Prediction, Odds & Best Bets

England Rugby Twickenham Stadium

England were at their imperious best last weekend, putting Australia to the sword and fans are expecting another impressive performance against Fiji on Saturday evening.

Climbing up to fourth in the World Rugby rankings following last weekend’s success, England fans will be hoping to preserve their status as one of the best teams on the planet when they host Fiji at Allianz Stadium Twickenham.

England v Fiji Odds:

Punters can bet on the rugby match between England and Fiji at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:

  • England – 1/25
  • Draw – 40/1
  • Fiji – 9/1

While England are clear favourites to prevail, this is a potential banana skin contest. Fiji have won five on the bounce, including a 29-14 victory over Scotland, and it would be foolish to write the tourists off entirely ahead of Saturday’s clash.

England vs Fiji Best Bet:

England flexed their muscles and put on a polished display against Australia last weekend but the hosts must avoid the ‘bounce’ effect on Saturday evening. Steve Borthwick will be demanding that his players remain focused on the task at hand.

The England coach has made several changes to allow players a chance to impress ahead of the 2026 Six Nations but that could work against the hosts, especially after such an impressive performance just seven days ago.

Cast your minds back to 2023 and England suffered a shock defeat at home to Fiji – the last time these sides met at Twickenham – and I’m expecting a pragmatic, if unexciting, approach from the hosts.

I can’t see England going all out and suddenly playing an open and expansive brand of rugby that differs from the traditional style of English rugby – the fundamentals will surely remain the same, particularly with the Six Nations on the horizon.

Fiji, on the other hand, are renowned for their ability to play with ball in hand and we should expect the visitors to throw the kitchen sink at England. Sometimes it pays off for them, other times it works against them.

A relatively low-scoring game could be on the cards and my tip for Saturday’s contest is for Fiji to keep this one relatively respectable – and +24 points is too big of a lead to pass up on.

England vs Fiji prediction: Fiji (+24) on the handicap at EVS.
