The 2020 World Snooker Championship is well under way as we enter the quarter-finals stage of the competition.
There has been limited shocks in this year’s early stages, which has set up some mouth-watering ties towards the latter end of the tournament.
Five-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan has impressed so far, putting on a snooker masterclass during his opening round beating of Thepchaiya Un-Nooh 10-1, before beating Ding Junhui 13-10 in round two. O’Sullivan is now favourite to take the tournament at 6/4.
The world number one, Judd Trump, has also booked a place in the quarter-finals where he faces Kyren Wilson. Currently second in the market at 3/1, defending champion Trump will have to be on the top of his game.
Mark Selby and Neil Robertson face off in what will make for incredible viewing. The pair are 6/1 and 12/1 respectively and three-time champion Selby will be looking to take advantage of the playing conditions. Robertson has said that the table has been playing incredibly heavy due to the humid conditions, stating that it’s tough to screw the ball back.
Regardless of the conditions, the final stages of the 2020 World Snooker Championship are set to be brilliant.
