Dancing on Ice: Louie Spence discusses new series

| BY News Team

Here at William Hill we caught up with our celebrity favourite and former Dancing on Ice judge Louie Spence to discuss the new series of the show as well as a few other things…

Louie, are you excited about Dancing on Ice 2020?

Yes, I’m really excited about Dancing on Ice 2020. I love seeing all the glitz and glamour, the costumes and drama, and I’m excited to see who is going to develop into a great skater this year.

Who do you think will do well on the show?

I definitely think Perri Kiely from Diversity will do very well having a dance background, and also being young and fearless. I think he’ll go far in the show.

What was it like being a judge?

It was great fun being a judge. Being able to watch all of the ice skaters develop through the shows was fabulous. I really enjoyed each week.

Anything you can tell us we don’t know about the show that was fun backstage?

For me the most fun backstage was in the make-up and hair department, watching everybody get ready and getting their glam on. Plus, there was always the best gossip going on there as everyone hangs out for quite some time before we went live on air.

Have you got a lucky number?

My lucky number is seven.

Who is the most famous person in your phone?

Take your pick – Emma Bunton, Tom Hardy and Kate Moss.

Who was your last WhatsApp from?

My last WhatsApp was from a celebrity TV producer! Watch this space.

Did you make any New Year’s resolutions?

No, I never bother making a New Year’s resolution because I never stick to them so I don’t make them in the first place.

What was your favourite Christmas present?

The best gift for me at Christmas is finishing pantomime and having a rest. I love pantomime but it’s always nice to get home and relax with my family and dogs.

If you could take three things to a desert island what would you take?

My husband, my dogs and music. I think those three things are the most important to me

Who would play you in a movie of your life?

I would play myself. I doubt anyone else would be able to play me – haha!
