Eurovision 2026 Odds: Finland Continue To Dominate Betting Ahead Of Song Contest

With one month to go until the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, William Hill News look at the latest betting amid news that Finland have surged into clear 6/4 favouritism to win in Vienna this year.

The front-runners have taken almost a third of all stakes in the outright winner market, having opened at 8/1 and briefly drifted to 12/1 back in January before sustained support has seen their price shorten to 6/4 in recent weeks.

Despite Finland’s dominance in the betting, Moldova (66/1) currently represent William Hill’s worst result in the book, largely due to a burst of early interest at 100/1 that has opened a sizeable liability for the leading bookmaker if the outsiders go all the way in Austria.

Moldova and Romania (25/1) have also proved popular in the Top 10 market, where their big prices have attracted punters looking for a surprise package to sneak onto the left-hand side of the 2026 scoreboard.

Interest in the United Kingdom has cooled over time, with the 1997-winners drifting out to 33/1 from 25/1 in the outright market.

Eurovision Outright Winner Odds 2026:

  • Finland – 6/4
  • France – 6/1
  • Australia – 7/1
  • Denmark – 7/1
  • Greece – 10/1
  • Israel – 12/1
  • Sweden – 22/1
  • Romania – 25/1
  • Italy – 25/1
  • Ukraine – 33/1
  • United Kingdom – 33/1
  • Cyprus – 33/1
  • Bar – 40/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Finland have been the story of the 2026 Eurovision market so far; they’ve gone from early 12/1 chances to a very strong 6/4 favourite and now account for close to a third of all money staked, with just a month to go before the final in Vienna.

“Behind them, France (6/1), Australia (7/1) and Denmark (7/1) are the main challengers, while at bigger odds, Moldova (66/1) and Romania (25/1) have quietly become liabilities in the outright and Top 10 markets.

“”By contrast, the United Kingdom are attracting plenty of small patriotic punts but very little in the way of major stakes, which is why they’ve eased out to 33/1 and currently sit some way behind the leading contenders in our eyes.”
