Love Island: Ex-contestant Jordan Hames discusses current series
We caught up with former Love Island participant Jordan Hames, who was in the last series of the show. Read on to find out just what he had to say about his time on the show as well as what he thinks of the Love Island series on our screens at the moment.
What was your favourite thing about Love Island?
My favourite thing was the two-hour time slot we had after dinner when we had time to get ready for the evening and me and the boys would go and sit on the swings and exchange stories while the sun set, that was fun.
Who have you hung out with since leaving the villa?
I live with Michael Griffiths and Chris Taylor but I also spend a lot of time with Danny, Joe, Joanna and Lucie. They are all fab people and I’m glad we have stayed close friends outside of the villa.
Are you watching this season and if so who would you date in the series?
Yes, I am watching and I think I would have gone for either Shaughna or Natalia.
Who is your celebrity crush ?
Lori Harvey.
Do you have a lucky chat-up line?
Not really, I don’t use chat-up lines. I just like to use my smile.
What’s your lucky charm?
My House of Hames boxers, check them out.
Where would you take someone on a first date?
Definitely to a puppy shelter, that’s got to be romantic, right?!
What would you cook a girl on a first date?
Ghanaian food, definitely! Jollof rice.
What TV would you like to do next?
The Island with Bear Grylls or SAS: Who Dares Wins, something action-packed for sure.
