Nia Archives has joined Olivia Dean as joint favourite (7/2) after sustained support since the market opened.

Nia Archives has continued to attract support in William Hill’s Mercury Prize betting, and she’s now joint 7/2 favourite with Olivia Dean to land Best Album at the ceremony in Newcastle tonight.

Nia Archives’ album ‘Emotional Junglist’ was as long as 14/1 when the markets opened but has attracted 25% of stakes in the outright market, seeing her odds cut into 7/2 joint favouritism with Dean.

Mercury Prize 2026 Odds:

  • Nia Archives – 7/2
  • Olivia Dean – 7/2
  • Dove Ellis – 4/1
  • RAYE – 6/1
  • BAR – 10/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “There is now nothing to separate Nia Archives and Olivia Dean in our Mercury Prize betting, with the pair joint 7/2 favourites to win the award in Newcastle tonight.

“Nia Archives’ album ‘Emotional Junglist’ has seen tremendous support since the market opened, and she’s seen her price plummet from to 7/2 from 14/1, making her comfortably our worst result in the book.

“Long-standing favourite Olivia Dean now shares favouritism for the first time, and with Dove Ellis also in the mix at 4/1, it is truly a wide-open race for who takes the award for Best Album 2026.”
