Oasis First Song Odds Ahead Of Opening Gig Of Comeback Tour
Oasis will take to the stage for the first time in 16 years on Friday evening, with a sell-out crowd at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
It was announced last year that the Mancunian Britpop band were to reform and fans have been speculating with regards to which song Oasis will open up with when they return to live performances.
According to the latest betting odds with William Hill, ‘Acquiesce’ and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ head the betting at 11/8 to be the first song fans hear in Cardiff while Hello is next up at 5/2.
Fan favourite track Supersonic is a 6/1 chance while Shakermaker (7/1) and Morning Glory (8/1) are also prominent in the betting ahead of Friday’s concert.
First Oasis Song In Cardiff (04/07) Odds:
Oasis fans have had to wait 16 years since the band’s last performance and the Gallagher brothers will want to get the party started early, with a crowd-pleasing track surely first up on the setlist.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “It’s nearly here, the moment Oasis fans have been waiting 16 years for and we think the Gallaghers could launch into the opening night of their comeback tour with either Definitely Maybe classic Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, or the perhaps aptly named Acquiesce.
“Both songs are 11/8 to be the curtain raiser in Cardiff, shorter than another traditional opener from the Britpop legends in Hello at 5/2, while Supersonic (6/1), Shakermaker (7/1), Morning Glory (8/1) and a long list of other hits follow.”
The stage is set and we are now just days away from the Oasis reunion tour. For a while, it seemed like it would never happen but it looks like Liam and Noel decided not to look back in anger in the end.
