William Hill have priced the chances of the UK’s all-time hottest temperature record being broken this week at 5/1.

UK Heatwave Specials:
- Temperature to exceed 35.6°C This Week – 1/50
- UK Record Temperature (40.3°C) To Be Beaten This Week – 5/1
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Britain looks set for a scorcher this week, with it a near formality that a new June temperature record exceeding 35.6C is set.
“The bigger question is whether we’re about to witness something truly historic and see the mercury rise beyond the current all-time record of 40.3°C, set in 2022. If forecasts prove accurate, it could be one of the most sweltering weeks of weather the country has ever seen.”
