UK Weather Forecast Odds: May Bank Holiday Heatwave On The Cards?
According to the latest betting odds, the UK is even-money with William Hill to see temperatures soar higher than Ibiza on Bank Holiday Monday.
The leading bookmaker also make it a 1/4 chance that the UK sees temperatures higher than both Sydney and Cape Town on the Spring Bank Holiday.
Next Monday is an even-money shot to be the hottest day of 2026 so far, while it’s 6/4 that the mercury rockets above 30c. In addition, it’s 12/1 that May 25th is the hottest day of 2026 come the end of the year.

“We’re expecting to see the mercury soar and make it even-money that the UK is hotter than Ibiza on Bank Holiday Monday, while we’re also even-money that it is the hottest day of 2026 so far.
“The UK looks set to sizzle, with it 6/4 that temperatures over 30c are recorded, while it’s 12/1 that come the end of the year, we look back on May 25th as the hottest of 2026.”
