Great Britain Men Fancied For Curling Gold After Qualifying For Semi-Finals

Great Britain have booked their place in the men’s curling semi-finals and punters at William Hill can back Bruce Mouat and his team at 3/1 to win the gold medal this winter.

We’re now entering a pivotal stage of the 2026 Winter Olympics, with medals on offer each day and the British team will be hoping to add another gold to the tally in the coming days.

Who will claim a gold medal on Thursday? Only time will tell. Read on for the latest curling odds and updates ahead of the upcoming semi-finals in the men’s competition.

Men’s Curling Outright Winner Odds:

  • Switzerland – 11/10
  • Canada – 9/4
  • Great Britain – 3/1
  • Norway – 8/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “It’s been an anxious 24 hours for Team GB curling fans, as qualification for the Men’s Curling team has been in the balance and depended on results elsewhere on the rink.

“But thanks to Switzerland’s defeat of Italy in the final round robin stage, Bruce Mouat and his team will make up one of the final four nations competing for a medal in Milano Cortina.

“We have Team GB at 3/1 to claim a gold medal in the Men’s Curling (a 25% implied chance), as they’re set to face the unbeaten Swiss team – who are 11/10 favourites for gold – in the semi-finals.

“Canada sit ahead of Great Britain in the betting, priced 9/4 second-favourites, while Norway are outsiders to top the podium at 8/1 after overcoming the Canadians in their final qualifying match.

“It’s going to be a tall order for Team GB to defeat the favourites, but they’d guarantee themselves a medal if they were to emerge victorious in their semi-final.”
