Ryder Cup 2025

Punters are firmly backing Team Europe ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup, with William Hill reporting that twice as many bets have been placed on Luke Donald’s side compared to Keegan Bradley’s USA.

Despite being the 11/8 underdogs, Europe are attracting the majority of early support from bettors across the UK and Ireland. The USA remain odds-on favourites at 8/11 to defend their crown at Bethpage, while a tie is 12/1.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “Punters in the UK and Ireland are being patriotic with at least twice as many bets being placed on Team Europe compared to Keegan Bradley’s men. Given Team Europe are also the 11/8 underdogs as things stand, it will be an expensive result if the trend continues and Luke Donald’s team triumph at Bethpage.”

Away from the outright betting, Robert MacIntyre has emerged as a popular outside fancy in the Top European Points Scorer market. The Scot is 14/1, with Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm heading the market at 4/1 apiece.

Here are the latest William Hill odds:

Tournament Winner:

  • USA – 8/11
  • Europe – 11/8
  • Tie – 12/1

Top European Points Scorer:

  • Rory McIlroy – 4/1
  • Jon Rahm – 4/1
  • Tommy Fleetwood – 11/2
  • Viktor Hovland – 8/1
  • Ludvig Aberg – 8/1
  • Tyrrell Hatton – 9/1
  • Matt Fitzpatrick – 10/1
  • Robert MacIntyre – 14/1
  • BAR – 16/1
