Miami Open Quarter-Final Predictions: Superstars In Action

| BY Sam Cox

The Miami Open quarter finals begin on Wednesday, with world number one Aryna Sabalenka among the big names in action.

Let’s dive into some tennis betting tips, starting off with Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe.

Frances Tiafoe vs Jannik Sinner

Frances Tiafoe’s lone win over Jannik Sinner came back in 2021. Sinner has won all four of the other meetings, including a triumph over Tiafoe in the final of the Cincinnati Masters two years ago.

It’s been an arduous run to the last eight for Tiafoe, with consecutive three-set matches. The win over Jakub Menšík was impressive, which was followed by a victory over Térence Atmane, who had just knocked out Felix Auger-Aliassime.

There haven’t been any marquee wins from Tiafoe so far this year. He’s yet to beat a top 10 opponent. That’s not going to change here.

Pick: Jannik Sinner to win and under 19.5 total games (4/6)

Martin Landaluce vs Jiří Lehečka

Qualifier Martin Landaluce has been on a remarkable run to his first ATP 1000 quarter final. The Spaniard saw off Luciano Darderi and Karen Khachanov before coming from a set down to beat a hampered Sebastian Korda.

Jiří Lehečka upset the odds to defeat Taylor Fritz in the fourth round. It is the Czech’s third quarter-final appearance in an ATP 1000 event and his first since the 2024 Madrid Open.

This promises to be an entertaining matchup between two players that are riding respective highs.

Pick: Both players to win a set (11/8)

Elena Rybakina vs Jessica Pegula

Both of these players have been in imperious form. This is undeniably the pick of the quarter-final draw. Elena Rybakina has dropped 17 games so far in the tournament, while Jessica Pegula has lost just 10.

Rybakina has been spectacular so far in 2026, and has three wins over Pegula in the last few months with a quarter-final win at Indian Wells following triumphs at the WTA Finals and Australian Open.

Pegula hasn’t beaten the Kazakh star since 2023. There’s surely only one outcome with Rybakina barrelling towards another marquee matchup with Sabalenka.

Pick: Elena Rybakina to win 2-0 (23/20)

Aryna Sabalenka vs Hailey Baptiste

Hailey Baptiste has been the story of the women’s draw. She’s knocked out three seeded players, including Elina Svitolina and Jelena Ostapenko, en route to a quarter-final duel with Sabalenka.

This is the first time Baptiste has reached the fourth round (let alone the last eight) of a WTA 1000 event. Sabalenka, in stark contrast, has won 10 such events, including this year’s Indian Wells Open.

As good as Baptiste has been, this feels like a step too far. Sabalenka has been absolutely dominant of late.

Pick: Aryna Sabalenka to win and under 19.5 total games (8/11)
