Miami Open Round Of 64 Predictions: Top Seeds Enter Tournament
The Miami Open, after some rain delays earlier in the week, is into its stride with more round of 64 matches taking place on Friday.
Here are our top tennis betting tips ahead of the latest round of action.
João Fonseca vs Carlos Alcaraz
João Fonseca has the unfortunate matchup of Carlos Alcaraz in the Miami Open on Friday. This is the first meeting between the players.
Fonseca has a 4-4 record on the year, though three of those wins came at Indian Wells. He lost a pair of tiebreaks to fall to Jannik Sinner.
Alcaraz had a shock defeat to Daniil Medvedev last time out, but this should be a routine win for the Spaniard given Fonseca’s mediocre record against top 10 players.
Pick: Carlos Alcaraz -5.5 games (Evens)
Damir Džumhur vs Jannik Sinner
ATP Tour veteran Damir Džumhur is facing Jannik Sinner on Saturday. Džumhur, who reached a career-high ranking of 23rd in 2018, is currently 76th in the world and has a brutal 2-7 record in 2026.
Following a surprise loss in Doha, Sinner was at his imperious best at Indian Wells. He won the tournament in straight sets and barely had to break sweat.
Anything other than a drubbing would be a positive outcome for Džumhur. This match could be over quickly.
Pick: Jannik Sinner -7.5 games
Francesca Jones vs Jessica Pegula
Brit Francesca Jones meets Jessica Pegula for the first time on Friday. Jones saw off Venus Williams in the first round in two sets, setting up a matchup against another American.
Pegula impressed in Dubai with a tournament win, but fell to Elena Rybakina in the quarter-finals of Indian Wells. Rybakina, though, is the only player to beat Pegula since Brisbane.
Having avoided slip-ups against lower-ranked players, look for Pegula to win this match pretty emphatically.
Pick: Francesca Jones under 5.5 games (10/11)
Aryna Sabalenka vs Ann Li
Ann Li pushed Aryna Sabalenka to three sets when they last met. That was three years ago, however, with Sabalenka only becoming more of a force since then.
Rybakina has been the only player capable of living with Sabalenka in 2026. Li needed three sets to beat the world number 60 in the first round of this tournament and will be overmatched in Florida on Friday afternoon.
Another straight-sets win is expected for the world number one.
Pick: Aryna Sabalenka -7.5 games (10/11)
