Miami Open Men’s Semi-Final Predictions: ‘Unstoppable’ Sinner The One To Beat

| BY Sam Cox

The men’s Miami Open semi-finals are taking place on Friday with a couple of surprising names making it to the last four.

Here are our tennis betting tips for both encounters.

Jiri Lehecka vs Arthur Fils

Seeded 21st and 28th, respectively, Jiri Lehecka and Arthur Fils have defied the odds to reach this stage of the competition. Casper Ruud, Jack Draper, and Taylor Fritz fell from Lehecka’s section, while things fell into place for Fils with Alex de Minaur’s early defeat.

Of course, Carlos Alcaraz’s loss in the third round was the most important factor in these two reaching the final. It left one side of the draw wide open, which has rarely been the case in the men’s game over the last couple of years.

Fils has won two of the three previous meetings, including a win in Doha earlier this year. There’s significant pressure on both players as they battle it out to make their first ATP 1000 final.

It’s hardly been the most challenging path for either player to reach this stage. As the Miami Open betting markets indicate, this could go either way, but Fils has the psychological edge after his win in Qatar.

Pick: Arthur Fils to win (8/13)

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev

Alexander Zverev got the better of Francisco Cerundolo, dropping only three games in the process, to set up a semi-final duel with Jannik Sinner. Sinner made light work of Frances Tiafoe in the last round with a pair of 6-2 wins.

A win would take Zverev to his first ATP 1000 final since the Paris Masters in 2024. He’s lost six matches in a row to Sinner, including a 6-2, 6-4 loss at Indian Wells and a pair of straight-sets losses at the ATP Finals and Paris Masters in 2025.

Zverev only had four wins over top 10 players in 2025, and his record against Sinner doesn’t suggest he can even be competitive in this match.

Pick: Jannik Sinner -4.5 games (17/20)
