Djokovic odds-on to play at 2027 Australian Open
Novak Djokovic’s defeat in the men’s singles final in Melbourne is not expected to be his final Australian Open appearance, with William Hill making him odds-on to play the 2027 Australian Open.
The leading bookmaker are 6/1 about the Serb winning a 25th Grand Slam this year, while it’s 5/2 that he wins another before he retires.
In contrast, Jannik Sinner is 6/5 to win one of the remaining three Slams in 2026, while Australian Open champion Carlos Alcaraz is 11/10 to add another before the year is out.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Novak Djokovic’s post-match comments after losing to Carlos Alcaraz in the weekend’s Australian Open final seemed to hint that this might be the last time we see him at the Rod Laver Arena as a player.
“Despite those comments in defeat, we suspect the fire still burns for the Serb and make him odds-on at 8/11 to be back playing in Melbourne in 2027.
“Winning another Slam looks to be a monumental feat with Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner now playing at a higher level, but Djokovic can never be ruled out and we make him 5/2 to take his career Grand Slam tally to 25 before he calls time on his glittering career, and 6/1 to achieve that milestone this season.”
