Britain’s Got Talent Odds: BGT 2/1 To Be Axed Before 2028 Despite ITV Renewal

Questions continue to mount over the future of Britain’s Got Talent, with William Hill going 2/1 for the show to be axed before its current deal with ITV runs out in 2028.

In addition, punters looking to bet on Britain’s Got Talent to be axed much sooner than that can get 10/1 for this weekend’s airing to be the last-ever episode of the show.

Looking ahead to Saturday night’s final, The Blackouts are 7/4 to be crowned Britain’s Got Talent champions in 2025. Meanwhile, Hear Our Voice – the powerful Post Office scandal choir – are next in the betting at 5/2 while the popular Stacey Leadbetter is priced at 7/1.

Harry Moulding is currently a 12/1 shot while the likes of Olly Pearson, Jasmine Rice and Ping Pong Pang are available at slightly bigger prices. Joseph Charm and Vinnie McKee are outsiders at 16/1 in William Hill’s online betting market.

The rank outsiders are Han & Fran, who are currently priced at 200/1 to win the competition – in what would be one of the biggest shocks in television show history.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Britain’s Got Talent recently renewed its contract with ITV through to 2028, so it’s expected to remain on air for the foreseeable future. However, there have been signs of shifting momentum, from schedule changes to criticism from some viewers.

“With that in mind, we’ve priced the show at just 2/1 to be axed before 2028. Still, another series next year looks likely, and we’ve made it a longer 10/1 shot for this weekend’s finale to mark the show’s last-ever episode.

“This Saturday’s Britain’s Got Talent final sees a clear frontrunner in Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act, The Blackouts, who are now as short as 7/4 to win, but hot on their heels are Hear Our Voice at 5/2, with Stacey Leadbeatter next in line at 7/1.”
