Callum Turner Drifts in 007 Betting as Dua Lipa Eyes Bond Theme Tune

Callum Turner remains the favourite to be the next James Bond with William Hill News, but the newlywed actor has drifted to 6/5 – his biggest price for the 007 role since February – while Dua Lipa is 11/4 to sing the franchise’s next theme song.

Turner, who married singer Dua Lipa in London yesterday, had been as short as 4/6 in recent months but now trades at 6/5 in the Next James Bond market.

He still heads the betting, though the gap to his nearest rivals has narrowed, with Harris Dickinson 7/2 and Aaron Taylor-Johnson 9/2. Jacob Elordi is 5/1, Leo Suter 8/1 and Theo James 10/1, with the rest of the field 16/1 and bigger.

Dua Lipa is prominent in her own right in the Next James Bond Theme Song market. She is 11/4 second favourite to land the gig, just behind Lana Del Rey at 5/2. Raye is 3/1, with Olivia Dean 7/2 and Harry Styles 7/1, before double‑figure prices for the remaining contenders.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “Callum Turner and Dua Lipa have both been touted as potentially playing a part in the next James Bond film, with the newlywed actor and singer among the favourites to play 007 and sing the opening theme tune respectively.

“Turner has long been the frontrunner to secure the 007 role, but that might now be less certain with the actor at his biggest price since February, having drifted out to 6/5 from as short as 4/6.

“That means the market is still wide open on who will be the next Bond, with Harris Dickinson (7/2), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (9/2) and Jacob Elordi (5/1) all names firmly in contention.

“Dua Lipa is also among the favourites to sing the next Bond theme tune at 11/4, with only Lana Del Rey ahead of her in the market, meaning the newly married couple could still be on course for a famous 007 double act.”
