Dancing on Ice returns to screens this Sunday after a break and the stakes couldn’t be higher in this week’s movie-themed show.
With various celebrities forced to withdraw from the series due to injuries sustained in training, it just goes to show what efforts are required in this competition.
Ahead of this weekend’s show, we’ve taken a look at which contestants are the favourites to go all the way and who could be set for the next exit.
Faye Brookes, best known for playing Kate Connor in Coronation Street, remains at the top of the betting. Prior to the last show she was available at 4/5, but that has since slimmed down to 1/3. She has continually impressed the judges so far and it looks like the other contestants will have to pull something out of the bag to get on terms with her at this stage.
Sonny topped the leaderboard on the last show with an impressive Popeye-inspired performance that he will be hoping holds him in good stead going into this week’s show. The Capital FM DJ has seen his odds shorten considerably and is now second favourite to land the prize at 3/1. Sonny earned his score of 35 on the previous show as he skated to Nathan Evans’ popular Sea Shanty, and the DJ will be hopeful he can continue riding his wave of good form into Sunday’s show.
Lady Leshurr narrowly finished the last show second from bottom on the leaderboard with a score of 30.5 and will be hoping this week she can improve once again. The rapper is currently third favourite in the betting at 16/1 and will have her work cut out to catch up with the two ahead of her, but if anyone has the determination, it appears the Lady does.
Rebekah Vardy has found improvement in the last couple of shows seeing her claim second spot on the leaderboard last week with a score of 32.5, her highest so far, and she will be hopeful that she can carry on in that direction. However, the market looks to have different ideas as she is currently top of the betting to be the next contestant eliminated at 11/10.
While Lady Leshurr is the current third favourite to win the competition, she unfortunately is also the second favourite to be the next contestant eliminated. The Birmingham born star is currently 7/4 to get the boot, although you can be sure she won’t go down without a fight.
