The I’m A Celeb contestants are approaching the two-week mark of life in the castle and the mood in camp is beginning to ebb and flow.

With a camp leader assigned, luxury prizes for the Lords and not the Ladies and a shortage of food whenever the trials are ill-completed, it’s time to take a look at who appears to be handling things best.

Jordan North

Jordan North remains the red-hot 6/4 favourite to be crowned king of the castle. Being chosen as the first camp leader was a clear show of the public’s liking for the radio DJ, and the best barometer we’ve had so far as to who will go all the way.

Giovanna Fletcher

Giovanna Fletcher is now firmly in the top three in the betting and currently second favourite at 5/2 having recently taken on the role of the next camp leader from Jordan. The ‘mother’ figure of the camp looks set to restore some order and bond between contestants after an up-and-down week.

Vernon Kay

It looks as though one of Bolton’s finest remains right in contention for victory at 9/2. Some commentators are suggesting Vernon Kay is now being labelled as this year’s heartthrob and that could help him land some all-important votes with the eliminations looming.

Shane Richie

The big mover of the week, but heading in the wrong direction, is Shane Richie. Clearly disappointed with AJ and Jessica’s bushtucker trial attempt earlier this week, Shane has had his first-week smile turned upside down. Being grumpy isn’t the best tactic to securing the public vote and he’s drifted right out to 10/1, having been just 2/1 after the opening night. Shane may well have recaptured his verve, though, following his heroic efforts during Wednesday night’s vile Bushtucker Trial drinking challenge…

Best of the Rest

Mo Farah appears to be coming out of his shell somewhat and that’s reflecting positively in his odds to win the show. The four-time Olympic gold medallist has shortened to 10/1 from 12/1 to go the distance – placing him alongside Shane in the betting. EastEnders star Jessica Plummer follows behind on 16/1 following her hilarious heroics with Shane in that drinking challenge.

Meanwhile, as for the first celebrity to face elimination from the show, it’s currently Paralympian Hollie Arnold that sits as the 10/11 odds-on favourite for the axe. Next in line is Ruthie Henshall at 4/1, while Jessica is also in the mix again at 6/1.
