I'm A Celebrity

Martin Kemp is the early frontrunner in the betting with William Hill for the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

With the line-up being confirmed today, Spandau Ballet guitarist and ex-Eastenders actor Martin Kemp is 4/1 to be crowned King of the Jungle, ahead of YouTuber Angryginge at 9/2.

Presenter and ex-England footballer Alex Scott is a 6/1 chance, just ahead of Irish presenter Vogue Williams (13/2), rapper Aitch (7/1) and actress Lisa Riley (7/1) in a hotly-contested market.

Comedian Ruby Wax is the outsider of the 12 contestants at 20/1, while actors Tom Read Wilson and Shona McGarty are also long shots at 16/1. There were plenty of rumoured contestants to go into the Jungle but the line-up is now officially out there ahead of the opening show of the new series.

Lee Phelps, spokesperson for William Hill, said: “It’s nearly time for the latest cohort of celebs to tip-toe with trepidation into the Australian jungle for the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and we make EastEnders star Martin Kemp our 4/1 favourite to win the series.

“Angryginge is closest to Kemp in the market at 9/2, while Alex Scott makes up the top three at 6/1, leading a cluster of contestants – Vogue Williams (13/2), Aitch (7/1) and Lisa Riley (7/1) – close behind.

“At the other end of the market, Ruby Wax is our outsider at 20/1, with the expectation she may melt under the pressure of the bushtucker trials, while Tom Read Wilson and Shona McGarty (both 16/1) are also expected to struggle to adapt to life in the jungle.”
