Who Will Be the Next James Bond? Jack Lowden Back as 5/6 Favourite

| BY News Team

Jack Lowden has moved back into favourite to become the next James Bond, with the actor shortening from 7/4 to 5/6 in William Hill’s betting.

Lowden’s move to the head of the market sees him switch places with Callum Turner, who has drifted from 5/6 to 6/4.

The latest Bond betting comes with renewed attention on Theo James following the release of season two of ‘The Gentlemen’, with James shortening from 14/1 to 10/1 to become the next 007.

It’s not just The Gentlemen that has got people thinking about potential Bond candidates, either, with Andrew Scott also featuring prominently in the latest betting moves. Following his recent appearance in Second World War drama ‘Pressure’, Scott has halved in price from 66/1 into 33/1.

Next James Bond after Daniel Craig:

Jack Lowden – 5/6

Callum Turner – 6/4

Jack Barton – 6/1

Jack O’Connell – 8/1

Theo James – 10/1

BAR – 12/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Jack Lowden is back at the head of our next James Bond betting, shortening from 7/4 to 5/6 and switching places with Callum Turner, who has drifted out to 6/4.

“The Gentlemen could prove to be something of a warm-up for Bond, with Theo James shortening from 14/1 to 10/1 following the release of the second season.

“It’s not just The Gentlemen that has caught the eye, though, with Andrew Scott also making a significant move after his recent appearance in Pressure. He’s gone from 66/1 to 33/1, halving his odds and making him an interesting name to keep an eye on despite remaining a big outsider.”
