Meet the contestants

Every year starts with an initial five boys and five girls who will couple up in the season’s first episode, but the list is sure to expand soon as the couples’ have their true compatibility tested throughout the season with numerous spicy new arrivals.

The following odds are the prices for contestants to be the top male or female come the end of the show.

Ella Thomas

Ella Thomas is a 23-year-old model from Glasgow who has appeared in music videos for global stars such as Stormzy and Burna Boy. Even at 23 she already knows exactly what she wants, she has described herself as ‘wifey material’ and she is ready to settle down should she find the right man in the villa.

Tyrique Hyde

Tyrique Hyde may already know exactly what he’s getting himself in to after announcing that he is in fact good friends with Toby Aromolaran, season seven’s runner-up! Tyrique has also made it known that he is deaf in his right ear, stating that he has a tattoo behind his left ear to symbolise strength and power.

Whitney Adebayo

Whitney Adebayo is another 25-year-old late entrant, hailing from Camden Town in North London. Whitney is an entrepreneur who amassed over 5000 followers on Instagram before entering the villa. Whitney is hoping to let out her less serious side in the villa, stating that she came on the show because she wants to have a ‘lit summer’.

Lochan Nowacki

One of the tempting new Casa Amor arrivals from the boys’ side is 25-year-old Account Manager Lochan Nowacki. Hailing from Windsor he feels that he can make an impact on some not so secure relationships to earn himself a spot in the villa.

Jess Harding

Aesthetics practitioner Jess Harding promises to be quite the character in the villa and will certainly be taking no prisoners, stating, “I can stand up for myself if I need to”. The 22-year-old says she is still searching for “Mr. Right” and she may well find him in the villa.

Molly Marsh

Molly Marsh is a Musical Theatre Performer and Social Media Creator from Doncaster. The 25-year-old is no stranger to the television scene, as she is the daughter of Coronation Street actress Janet Marsh. Having worked in social media, Molly has actually visited the villa before for work, but now she will be entering it for real to start her search for love.

Zachariah Noble

Zachariah Noble will certainly bring some more height to the villa with the 25-year-old basketball player from South London standing at six foot three. Zachariah will be hoping to stay in the villa long enough to celebrate his birthday which is on June 13th, but his main goal is to meet his life partner.

Sammy Root

Sammy Root is a 22-year-old project manager from Kent. He describes himself as fun but also cheeky, and as a later entry into the villa he is not scared to step on other people’s toes to get what he wants, which he says is a girl with an amazing personality.

The couples

Lochan Nowacki & Whitney Adebayo – 1/2

Lochan and Whitney instantly hit it off in Casa Amor. They are the power couple in the villa at the moment and with their strong connection, they are the frontrunners for winning the Love Island 2023 Final.

Tyrique Hyde & Ella Thomas – 11/4

Together since day one, the couple experienced some trouble during Casa Amor, which ended in them temporarily splitting, they are back together and look strong. The arrival of Ella Barnes tested their relationship momentarily but they are proving their strength as a pair and look worthy second favourites.

Sammy Root & Jess Harding – 3/1

Sammy and Jess have gone from strength to strength recently and that is reflected in their change of odds. The pair were 10/1 a week ago after an awkward watch on movie night which revealed that Sammy had not been as faithful as first thought, but the couple seem to have made up and now complete the top three favourites at 4/1 to win this year’s series.

Zachariah Noble & Molly Marsh – 14/1

This couple got off to a rocky start, with Molly seemingly swerving Zachariah as he made his first move on her. Now recently ‘closed off’, the couple have strengthened as the final approaches, but there are doubts about their popularity with the public and they have drifted from 10/1 to 14/1 over the past seven days.

Full list of odds:

Winning Couple:

Lochan Nowacki & Whitney Adebayo – 1/2

Tyrique Hyde & Ella Thomas – 11/4

Sammy Root & Jess Harding – 3/1

Zachariah Noble & Molly Marsh – 14/1
