Next Strictly Come Dancing Presenter Odds: Fleur East Heads Betting
Fleur East has been backed into favouritism with William Hill to become the next presenter of Strictly Come Dancing, after long-term presenting duo Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman depart at the end of the current series.
East was a 7/2 chance to take up the role when betting markets opened last Thursday but has since been supported into 2/1, while Rylan Clark is another name that has been popular, shortening from 5/1 to 5/2.
Hannah Waddingham has also moved in the market from 6/1 into third favourite at 7/2, while previous front runners, Zoe Ball and Janette Manrara, have both drifted in the betting out to 4/1 from 3/1.
Other names in the running include former Dancing On Ice presenter Holly Willoughby (11/2) and current Strictly judge Anton Du Beke (6/1).

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “As speculation continues to swirl around who will replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as the next presenters on Strictly Come Dancing, we’ve seen a major move in the market for Fleur East, who has shortened into 2/1 favourite since the weekend.
“East was 7/2 before the weekend, while her Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two co-presenter Rylan Clark has also been well backed, shortening into 5/2 second favourite from 5/1.
“Hannah Waddingham (7/2 from 6/1) is another mover, but both Zoe Ball and Janette Manrara have gone the other way in the market, out to 4/1 from 3/1 joint-favourites.”
