Strictly 2024: Tasha to claim opening Perfect 40 of series?

According to new insights from William Hill Vegas, Tasha Ghouri may be on the verge of claiming the first Perfect 40 in this year’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing.
Partnered with seasoned professional Aljaž Škorjanec, Tasha will take to the floor this Saturday with a Couple’s Choice routine that has fans and bookmakers alike speculating about her chances of a breakthrough performance.
Already a standout competitor this season, Tasha has been closing in on that elusive top score, thrilling both judges and audiences with her precision, style, and fierce energy. In week four, she dazzled with a high-flying Charleston that brought her just shy of perfection, scoring an impressive 39 points.
This week, Tasha has chosen the expressive and versatile Couple’s Choice routine, known for its emotional range and creative freedom—a combination that could give her the edge needed to reach Strictly’s iconic Perfect 40. Historically, Couple’s Choice has proven successful in previous series, securing six Perfect 40s over the last ten years. Only the Charleston (9) has achieved more, making it one of the most impactful and high-scoring routines:
William Hill also highlights Tasha’s upward trajectory in the betting ranks for the season’s ultimate prize. She’s now positioned as a second-favourite to win Strictly, with odds of 9/2 to take home the glitterball trophy. Although Chris McCausland (1/2) remains ahead, Tasha’s growing fan base and standout performances may well lead her into contention.
William Hill Vegas spokesperson, Lee Phelps, commented: “The Couple’s Choice routine has consistently delivered some of the most unforgettable performances on Strictly, and this Saturday, Tasha and Aljaž have a real chance to join the ranks of top scorers.
“The freedom and high-scoring nature of the Couple’s Choice routine – evidenced by six Perfect 40 scores in the last ten series – gives Tasha and Aljaž the opportunity to craft something unique this weekend, making the moment ripe for a full set of 10s from the judges.”
