TV doesn’t get much more exciting than this – the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 final is just around the corner.

Yes, we’re down to the final four as Bill Bailey, HRVY, Maisie Smith and Jamie Laing all face off for the Glitterball Trophy this weekend.

Ahead of the big night, we’ve taken a look at the latest odds to see who’s favourite to emerge victorious.

Bill Bailey

What a story this is turning out to be. Little fancied at the beginning of the series, Bill Bailey’s popularity has rocketed as each week has gone by and despite not being the best of dancer on the show, he’s become a fan’s favourite. Bill, alongside his dance partner Oti Mabuse, continues to hold the favourite tag as we approach the final, and he’s currently 8/11 to claim victory this weekend.

A Charleston and Tango last week saw him notch the fourth best score of the night. This week it’s a Quickstep to ‘Talk to the Animals’, a Showdance to ‘The Show Must Go On’ and Couple’s Choice to ‘Rapper’s Delight’ for his three performances. One suspects he won’t have to attain the best score of the night to win the public over – this will be Bill’s Glitterball Trophy to lose.

HRVY

While Bill has long been the frontrunner as the series has gotten into the groove, it’s HRVY that has been his closest competitor in terms of the betting– he’s currently 7/4 to claim the crown. HRVY has been one of the show’s most consistent performers this year and scored a stunning triple 10 last week from the judges with a performance to the Charleston alongside dance partner Janette Manrara to secure the second strongest points total of the night.

Up next for HRVY and Janette are a Jive to ‘Faith’, a Showdance to ‘Boogie Wonderland’ and the American Smooth to ‘One (Singular Sensation)’ – and the duo will be hopeful of delivering more magic in the final. While Bill is the clear favourite for glory, another triple 10 from the judges for HRVY will certainly do his chances the world of good. Don’t rule him out just yet.

Maisie Smith

It’s been somewhat of an up and down journey for Maisie Smith. Ahead of the start of the competition, Maisie was the clear favourite, having won the Children in Need version of Strictly last year. A strong opening to the series, however, was followed by a decline in her performances and she is now third favourite at odds of 6/1. Last time out, though, she was back to her best – just one point off securing 10s across the board from her Couple’s Choice and Viennese Waltz performances, she was back at the top of the leaderboard for the first time since way back in week two. Alongside Gorka Marquez, this week she will be performing the Samba, a Showdance and the Quickstep. Has she got any more magic up her sleeve?

Jamie Laing

Based on their odds, the top three would all hope to be in the running for victory this weekend. In terms of an outsider from the final four, that man is Jamie Laing. His odds of 66/1 suggest he will need a miracle on Saturday night. Jamie and Karen Hauer did finish top of the pile in week five, so the talent is there. It’s the Charleston, Showdance and Couple’s Choice this time around – can the Made In Chelsea man spring a major shock?
