Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Winner Odds After Opening Show
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey has more than halved in price with William Hill following the couples being decided for Series 23 of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night.
Former Commonwealth gold medallist sprinter Aikines-Aryeetey was paired with professional dancer Karen Hauer, a dual Strictly finalist, seeing his odds of going all the way slashed to 6/1 from 14/1.
Vicky Pattison was another major mover in the market, shortening into 7/1 from 10/1, after being paired with Kai Widdrington. Meanwhile, Lewis Cope remains favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy at 11/4, from Ellie Goldstein (9/2) and Dani Dyer (5/1).

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “With the Strictly couples being announced on Saturday night, the contestants had their first taste of the dancefloor and former sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and media personality Vicky Pattison seem to have already struck a chord with punters.
“Aikines-Aryeetey has been a major mover in our outright market since the opening night of the 2025 series, shortening significantly into 6/1 from 14/1, while Pattison has also proved popular, coming into 7/1 from 10/1, with both contestants being paired with professionals that know the way to the Strictly final.
“Lewis Cope remains the 11/4 favourite, followed by Ellie Goldstein at 9/2, but it’s certainly all to play for ahead of the first dance week.”
