Lewis Cope has stormed up the Strictly Come Dancing betting market after delivering a showstopping Halloween routine that earned him a perfect score of 40, according to the latest odds from William Hill.

“Cope is now second in the outright market to lift the Glitterball Trophy behind George Clarke, whose position as favourite is no longer safe with his odds drifting from 11/10 to 6/4.
“Alex Kingston is another who continues to attract support as our 7/2 third favourite, with her odds clipped from 4/1 before the weekend.
“Karen Carney also impressed, scoring 38 for her Argentine Tango, with her odds being slashed from 16/1 to 9/1 as a result.”
While George Clarke remains the slight favourite, his recent performances haven’t quite matched the high bar set earlier in the competition. Punters are beginning to look elsewhere for value, and Cope’s rapid rise could make the race for the Glitterball one of the tightest in recent series.
