You are completely correct and thanks for the feedback. That sounds more like an error on our behalf. Like I say, producing a big range of markets is currently very manually intensive for us, something we are striving to improve.
adam 18th Aug 2009 - 14:53
Yeah, you offer total goal markets on certain matches and not on others! for example i had leeds exeter over 2.5 goals a few weeks ago and u had markets for most! now preston barnsley u dont or any game in league 1 2 or championship but u have stupid markets like receive a penalty and score! whats the point of that! furthermore, molde viking no over 2 goals till it goes in-running! how can u tonight have anytime scorer markets in matches such as preston and how many goals in a half bu
Craig [WH] 18th Aug 2009 - 13:28
Adam, can you give us an example?
We endeavour to offer our full range of markets on all leagues and competitions but at times it is simply not feasible, as in any business we have to make it worth our while.
You will have noticed our range of markets is increasing as we develop our systems to facilitate the creation of more opportunities to bet on.
Adam 18th Aug 2009 - 13:01
why dont u do over 2 goals on all football markets????
Craig [WH] 18th Aug 2009 - 11:51
Adam
We're not in the habit of intentionally copying our competitors offers but a bonus points scheme sounds like a good offer that we might look into
Gordon
We try to listen to all our customers' suggestions and are glad you're enjoying your betting with us

The best price on Chelsea is with Ladbrokes, 4/7. Coral are actually 1/2, the same as us.
You can however get the best price of 13/2 on Sunderland in that match with William Hill.
gordon mccallum 18th Aug 2009 - 11:49
i switched my account from ladbrokes to hills as i e-mailed ther cust serv 8 times to ask to give sp if biger they never evan got back to me now thev copied hills but its to late theve lost a lot of good punters!
adam moore 18th Aug 2009 - 11:25
ladbrokes do a bonus points card! are william hill considering anything like that! i like the bonuses they have on it!
roy 18th Aug 2009 - 8:30
On the game Sunderland v Chelsea Chelsea to win
Ladbrokes 4/7
Corals 4/7
Paddy power 8/15
betf365 8/15
William Hill 1/2
Can you tell me which is the best price for Tuesday's game?
Craig [WH] 18th Aug 2009 - 8:21
Can't argue with that Rich. We can't guarantee to be biggest on the selections you want every time - market forces ultimately dictate the price - but we offer more top prices across the board than anyone else.
Craig [WH] 18th Aug 2009 - 7:46
You have a point Chris but either the prices have changed dramtically or I think your maths is out.
Our prices are identical to bet365 and that treble pays £6.60 to a pound with us both.
Boyles are stand alone best at 1/1 about Leeds while everyone else mentioned is 10/11 - making the treble pay £6.91.
PaddyPower are 3/4 on Wigan while everyone else is 8/11. A £1 treble with them pays £6.68.
However, we're not claiming to be the best price on everything - the facts are that we have consistently offered the biggest match prices around on more selections than the other bookmakers.
rich 18th Aug 2009 - 7:33
Arsenal and Chelsea double for tonite far better odds at Ladbrokes...Best odds aint workin for me!!!
chris 17th Aug 2009 - 15:45
who came up with this? i checked round there for tomorrow night- treble- leeds, arsenal and wigan- 1 quid gets you £10.70 here but on paddypower its £12.70 and £12.42 on boyles £13.19 on bet365 - nearly 30 quid on a 10 pound bet
matt 15th Aug 2009 - 11:27
William Hill are conisistantly one of the worst odds for football matches prior to the day, why is this? why price up football matches 2,3 or 4 days in advance and make them the worst odds around?, its very annoying when placing bets over a number of days into 1 accumalator and then seeing that the "true odds" appear on matchday. very annoying.
Craig [WH] 15th Aug 2009 - 8:16
Roy,
Looking at the Premier League matches for this weekend, the Draw-Draw double result prices are 3 matches at 4/1, 5 at 9/2 and 2 at 10/1
roy 15th Aug 2009 - 7:04
The whole point of initiating my blog was that the odds at William Hill for the double bet have been reduced from 9/2 to 7/2. So no, it is no longer a good thing
Craig [WH] 15th Aug 2009 - 5:11
Neil
Looking at our competition we're joint best price Man Utd & Chelsea, same price as everyone but Coral about Liverpool and, granted, worst price Arsenal (but best price Everton)
Not sure where you got your prices from.
Gary
I don't recall that offer. No promises but consider it considered - watch this space.
Roy
A 9/2 x 9/2 x 9/2 treble pays about 166/1. I don't really understand what your trying to say other than it is rare that our prices are as short as 7/2 as we're usually 4/1 or 9/2. Isn't that a good thing?
Diana
You're not wrong!
Diana 14th Aug 2009 - 22:49
WILLHILL WE BEST BOOKMAKER !!!!
roy gardiner 14th Aug 2009 - 19:16
You are correct with one pont drift but on a treble the odds drift from 163/1 to 91/1 which is a large difference.
However, I feel many of you do not understand the double bet. Having bet on ths type of bet all season I know the bets were between 4/1 to and 9/2 but obviously based on the 90 minute match. Rarely over the last two seasons have there been odds of 7/2 in domestic games on William Hill prices.
Neil 14th Aug 2009 - 17:09
Great prices for LAST season, but what about this!
Of the above 5 firms listed WH is WORST price Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal AND Liverpool.
Is WH just a 'One Season' Wonder
Gary Briggs 14th Aug 2009 - 16:56
William Hill used to pay a 10% bonus to winning multiple football bets if a bet was placed on the Friday evening, Is this still available, if not any chance of bringing it back?
Craig [WH] 14th Aug 2009 - 6:17
9/2 to 7/2 is actually a one point drift Roy but I expect that is one particular instance. Our Double Result prices are based on the 90 Minute match prices and then adjusted, if necessary, dependent on market influences.
roy gardiner 13th Aug 2009 - 21:09
I made an observation that the odds for double betting had dramatically been decreased for this season. i.e. draw / draw reduced from 9/2 to 7/2 - a full 2 points but this has yet to appear on the comments sections.
I wonder why?
