David Pipe Cheltenham prices and specials
As Britain's racing media gathered at David Pipe's Pond House stables this morning, William Hill priced-up a number of specials surrounding the forthcoming Cheltenham Festival.
David Pipe will have a numerically strong hand at the Festival next month and is just 2-1 with William Hill to saddle three or more winners at the meeting. With 14 entries in the race named after his father, David is 6-1 to land that special race for the first time.
With his team headed by the talented Dynaste, William Hill make the promising grey 7-4 to win any race next month and 20-1 to win at Cheltenham and then go on to success in the William Hill King George.
Richard Thomas, spokesman for William Hill, said: "David boasts a good team this year, led by the star grey Dynaste. Whilst his final target has yet to be confirmed, our 7-4 about him winning at the Festival looks fair value. Such is the numerical strength of the Pond House squad, that it will be a major surprise if David Pipe doesn't have at least one winner at the Festival."
