Premier League Preview: Title rivals meet at the Etihad

League 2

Man City and Arsenal lead the way again in the Premier League and the title rivals meet at the Etihad on Sunday.

City drew a rare blank when their Champions League clash with Inter Milan ended 0-0 on Wednesday. Arsenal also had to settle for a point in Europe as David Raya’s smart double save kept their game against Atalanta goalless.

Elsewhere this weekend, West Ham v Chelsea kicks off the action, while there’s a West Midlands derby as Wolves travel to Aston Villa. Liverpool will hope to bounce back from their defeat to Nottingham Forest when they host Bournemouth and Saturday’s late game sees Crystal Palace face Man Utd.

Before we take a closer look at three of the 10 Premier League games, here’s this week’s Top Acca – Tuesday’s Champions League four-fold won at 5/1!

Get 9/2 on Aston Villa, Liverpool, Spurs and Burnley all to win at 15:00 on Saturday. Available online and in-shop.

Here are a few stats to consider:

  • Aston Villa v Wolves: Wolves are winless in their last seven Premier League games (D1 L6). Since the start of March, they’ve lost more games than any other top-flight side (11)
  • Liverpool v Bournemouth: The Reds have won nine of their last 10 Premier League meetings with Bournemouth
  • Spurs v Brentford: The Bees have lost 12 of their last 16 away Premier League matches (W3 D1) – all four of their away London derbies in this sequence have been lost
  • Burnley v Portsmouth: The Clarets have won 26 of their last 38 home league games in the Championship, scoring in all but three of those matches

And don’t forget you can get a Bet Builder Winnings Boost on all Premier League games, including 50% more on both Sunday games. Plus, Impact Sub will keep your bet alive.
